Has anyone else taken a while to get to W2? I am a chunky monkey and know that it may take me longer than average to do c25k, but just checking that I'm not alone in having to stay on W1 for more than the first week!

W3 and still on W1 podcast... ??Will I ever get to W2!!
Do no despair! You're not alone...
Today is my 5th run in 2 weeks and I'm still on W1.
I made a pact with myself that I wouldn't move up until I could complete all the runs in W1 without failing a single one.
If I only run 7 out of 8, I know I'm not ready to move to the next stage.
Better to redo W1 than set myself up for failing W2 at the first attempt.
I need to feel comfortable or I'll feel defeated.
Did week 1 twice, then got ill and repeated it again and second time at R2 knew it was time to move to week two. Don't worry NessyNoo this is about you running and getting healthier. Your body, your health gains. You will know when it is time to move to week 2.
Took me nearly six weeks and I don't know how many sessions to complete Week One... I thought "Oh well, maybe it will just be a 9 month programme rather than 9 week one for me" Graduated at the weekend just under 13 weeks after starting ('cos if you run every other day your 'weeks' are only six days long)
Nothing has been harder for me than having to start running 8 times.
I am glad this has been asked as I just started today and don't think there is a hope of me being able to complete the W1 in the first week. I'll just see how long it takes me.
