W3R1 in the bag!

I was quiet worried about moving onto the next week after the aches, pains & delays...but I have to say, I'm so chuffed that all the shin & hip pain seems to have gone! It has been replaced by a front ankle pain..I'll have to google it ;)

Nevertheless, I did it and am still amazed at my progress...here's to the next week!!

Well done you! Week 3 seems like such a big jump. Have been properly fitted for shoes? If not it might be worth getting a gait analysis.

Well done Sarah! I hope the front ankle pain is just temporary :)

The ankle pain is still there, it hurts when I flex my foot upwards. I've googled it, yet another 'common runners injury'. I can't get a gait analysis because I live in the canary islands!! I will be in the UK in June, when I will have one done. Until then, my trainers are ok but I'm going to buy a new pair anyway....as I've managed to get this far! I think most of my problems have been due to a change in excercise and my body getting used to it....hopefully this will be the same and it'll be gone soon!

I did it! The gremlins from last week stayed away and I've got a good sweat on but I am sooo pleased
