I've been trying to get out for my first 30-minuter of week 9 all afternoon! I waited in through a big downpour and hail storm, then it seemed to brighten up, so out I went with the dog, with rather misplaced optimism. Alas, I arrived at the destination to start running after the 5 minute warm up...and those pesky, icy hailstones started once again. It's so frustrating!
Hard to believe I'm so put out by bad weather...8 weeks ago I would have relished the thought of a nice cup of tea on the couch instead of venturing out..

awww poor doggies! the Jack Russell just looked at me as if to say..."what the hell did you bring me out in this for?" yes,the stones were big and really quite sharp. I ought to confess I didn't go out in a waterproof jacket but this is from the girl who used to walk to school with wet hair and no coat on as a teenager...so I only have myself to blame really!
