Good news about my knee; I didn't feel any pain at all in todays run. I just did a gentle 30 minute jog. I can't tell you how relieved I felt!
However, the rest of my body ached all over, especially lower back. I was thinking things through as I jogged and I think it is because I have slept in three different beds this week...visiting relatives; don't get any other ideas So that explains the body feeling like a sack of bruised potatoes. (although I don't think you can actually bruise potatoes?)
And the other thing I was mulling over as I jogged along was my weight gain over the half term break. Not just a couple of pounds, but half a stone. Yes, you heard right HALF A STONE! Now how did that happen? I don't eat chocolate or hot cross buns! The only thing that has changed is eating slightly bigger portions and drinking wine most nights.
So it's back to eating like a mouse, and not drinking like a fish.
