Physically - i have not completed one run in week 7 without a real struggle. Ive done 3 runs now and feel as if im struggling to stay motivated . Any Ideas to improve and move on would be appreciated. Thanks

Do you think you might benefit from going back a week and repeating Wk6 to consolidate your fitness that way?

Also are you making sure you are eating well and drinking enough, plus getting enough sleep, as those all make a real difference for me.

Your doing really well, great to be this far in - well done.. I found wk7 run 1 really really difficult but then went onto do the next weeks which some how i found easier, even though it was longer. March on to the next run, take a slower pace and after eating, drinking, sleeping right, listen to laura, use the force as other blogers say, you can do it as you have proven over the last 7 weeks. Would a change of route help - new surroundings might be good. Try one of the previous runs again, maybe see if that spurs you on.

Hi, I ran wk 7 R2 yesterday and also struggled. It was so hot so I am putting it down to that. I'm running again in the morning so will let you know how I get on. On the positive side WE HAVE GOT TO WEEK 7!!!! You must be pleased with yourself as I am. I think i'm staring to see changes in my body and I feel great in my head. Keep going we are nearly there.

I would definitely try a change in route, or maybe just do your route backwards. That helped me loads. Week 7 is a hard week because it just feels like forever, but you can do it. Would listening to your own music help? Make sure you have enough to drink and eat too.

I have just finished week 8 run 2, I did find week 7 the most difficult so far. For me it is getting to half way in the run. My legs feel heavy, the confidence is low but once I know I am past half way I tend to relax and know the hardest part is over. I still feel that way about week 8 but I know that if I get past the half way mark I will finish. Remember you have done the 6 weeks up to now so it is now that the hard work will pay off. Good luck!
