I really cannot believe I have done this today, I am so proud of myself and I felt so good I actually shed tears of joy and threw my arms in the air, you know a bit like Paula Radcliffe but without the GB flag of course lol. Honestly the feeling of achievement is overwhelming and soooooooooo good! Got my daughter doing Couch to 5k now too.

Well done! A friend who is also doing this at the moment visioned herself in the Olympics the other day as motivation. Everyone was cheering her on! Whatever works best for u! Well done!

Well done. It is a great feeling when you complete each step of the programme. My daughter has also started C25K and is about to start wk3.

I'm due to do run 3 of week 4 tomorrow and know exactly what you mean. I never thought I'd be able to run for 5 minutes without stopping - it was a bit of a psychological barrier for me - but I went out and did it! Its feels like a real achievement when you do something you never thought you'd be able to do doesn't it? I like the idea of Gingystrider's friend visioning herself in the Olympics - think I might try that myself tomorrow morning!

I did run 2 today but on run 1 (week 4) on Sunday when Laura first said I had run for 5 mins I had tears in my eyes too I was that chuffed! So weird how it gets you. Run 2 went even better. Can't quite get my head round that I'm actually doing it. Ace.
