Does the extra 7 minutes in week 4 compared to week 3 make a big difference?

I've just done run 2, week 3 and noticed there's much more running time in week 4 which is quite scary! How have the ones that have done it found it?

Absolutely fine tbh - just follow Laura's instructions and keep it really slow and steady. And DO NOT look ahead at week 5. DO NOT.....oh well - if you already have, then just to say it's nothing like as bad as it sounds!! Can't quite believe I'm now in week 7 and have just run 25 mins - twice this week, and a bit faster the second time. It's exponential from here on in!

Week 4 is alright and stop looking/listening ahead :) it's surprising what your body starts to do, week4 surprised me and really it's ok, relax, do as laura tells you, just one pod cast at a time and like Laura says it's not about speed it's about keeping moving. I've just done week 5 run 1 today and I'm delighted with myself

I have just completed W3 R2 and done exactly the same thing - looked ahead at whats to come in W4 and it seems like so much more running - it's kind of daunting :s

It may seem a lot, but when you're doing it, it really isn't. Go for it! :)

I found that my recovery time is getting shorter each time I run-so that must be a good thing so YES it does seem a long run when you're doing it but you it does get easier!

After Wk3 you know you can run for 3mins, all that Laura is asking is that you continue for a couple more minutes, on two of the runs. In Wk1 you added 8 mins running (starting from 0), so an extra 7mins should be easy now you're getting fitter :)

That's very true! I will give it a go anyway like I've done with all the weeks so far and I've not had to go back yet so fingers crossed!

That's the main thing - 'have faith in the programme' as Laura says. She knows what she's talking about!
