Well today is the day where I find out what I'm truly made of! I have decided to take as flat a route as possible or I know I won't finish. The view of the sea and the fresh air will hopefully spur me on....bloody hope so as I've put on 2 lb and need to get with it. Wish me luck, see you soon, I hope
Week 9 and I'm feeling sick!!!!: Well today is... - Couch to 5K
Week 9 and I'm feeling sick!!!!

Oh dear god, I only went and did it!!!!! It was bloody hard, I took a different route and kept my head down , Laura spurred me on and the music was better this week!!! YAY ME!!!
Thanks all for encouraging words <3
Hi Pat, I just had a look at your profile as several of your comments have resonnated with me. I too am a forty something mother of 3 and completed week 9 day 1 this morning which means that you also must have spent the last 9 weeks forcing yourself out in all weathers including ice and snow no doubt much to the amazement of friends and relations, so well done! I get to run by the river which is usually serenely calm but this morning it had proper waves with white peaks on it was so windy, it was like running on a treadmill, my little legs were going round but I wasn't moving forward! Any way good luck with the rest of the runs this week!
Hi CaroB , Indeed I do have to force myself to get out and run every time, I tend to go as soon as I've dropped my youngest to nursery and then I still have time to recover when I get home before the school pick up! I ran by the sea today, very windy but it kept me cool How did you find the first run of week 9? I struggled but did it with nothing left in me at the end!!! I am boring the pants off most people with my running stories but I don't care cos I am proud of my old wobbly self !! Look forward to hearing from you soon, good luck with your last two runs
Hi Pat, have just done the 2nd run of week 9, it was a lot easier than I expected, probably helped by reading all the positive comments on this site before I headed out and knowing that I could definitely do it havig done run 1, even better I managed to get out and back before the rain started. I am very impressed that you are managing to fit C2K5 into a life that involves running around after a pre schooler. My youngest is 12 so it's just a question of chivvying her out of the door before I can head out myself. Good luck with runs 2 and 3!
Well done you
Well done Pat, see you CAN do it!
Thanks folks, hope it's slightly easier Wednesday!!
Great stuff. you are doing so well.x
Well done Pat and CaroB. Hope there's some good weather on Wednesday
