Consilidation 3. Almost enjoyed it.

Ok, confession time. I'm looking forward to the day when I genuinely look forward to my run and genuinely enjoy doing it. Because, although Mr Cram tells me that I am now a runner I still feel like someone who runs rather than an actual runner.

This morning, I got ready because that is what I had to do (sorry, MintT) and left the house because that is what i had to do. What I did get to do was run in the best of places and to see this magnificent fellow enjoying the early morning sun. And that was privilege enough, surely.

Anyway, run done, success, and on to the next one. I might just go for the Beyond C25K next time. See how that feels.

😂 Loving your words and run. We might have to haul ourselves out of the house but we get to run in beautiful places. We get to improve both our mental and physical health. We get to enjoy Mother Nature at her finest. We get to hear bird singing, because they can can. We get to hear hearty congratulations for our efforts. We get to congratulate ourselves on how far we’ve come — Do I have to/ get to/ need to go on!!! 😂💪💐😂

Get you lady! What a good run to have done. You got to do some good stuff and when you feel you’re a runner in your own time that’s fine. You got me thinking I became a runner when one day I wanted to run - no reminders, no coach, I’m not there yet but I know I will be. You’ve got no judges here. We’ve got your back and when you decide you’re a runner we get to celebrate with you

Mighty success! And this is where for many the run fun begins!

Run to different playlists. Run at different sites. Different jeffing ratios. Different fellow runners. Different times.

I feel it is a bit like exploring playfully one’s own physical presence in the world, and the birds, nature and sites that accompany all our runs are such an extra bonus!

So hoping you find your fun-run pace! But especially well done for keeping on going if it’s not quite as fun yet!

I am beginning to look forward to my runs, 6 weeks past graduation, I now know the first ten minutes or so of the run are nowhere near pleasurable but after that I settle down and yesterday really enjoyed the rest of the run, don't know if enjoyment is part of the deal, but it is there when it comes, if not every time but some of the time. For me, post run is my reward knowing I have done whichever goal that run was for. Beyond c25k is great, the mixing it up and choosing which to do adds a bit of variation, you have to do all three to unlock the choice though, and run 3 is run 3 for a reason! That's all I am saying. But the advice along the way is great as you would expect. I love them, play with them a bit though.
