A frosty dawn for W6R1

Always worth mentioning frost down here because it is so rare - barely a handful a year and today was one of them. But it didn't feel as cold as the less frosty but bitterly windy ones we have had this winter.

So, under a blue sky, looking out over a blue sea frothed with cloud at the horizon, I counted two ships, one small crabber heading perhaps to Sennen and even a white sailed yacht braving the early chill.

Running this one is interesting - just getting into your stride and the toxins are settling and you have to stop. Always a surprise after the 20 minutes but today went well because I knew what to expect. You think it's going to be a doddle after twenty minutes but it isn't because you can't settle - a good learning exercise in adaptability, I guess.

Wishing everyone good days and good running.

I have just completed my first 20 minute run, on a beautiful day, cold but the sea was so calm here. We are lucky to live at the coast. I saw a seal trying to get back into the sea as I was running along. Its moments like that, that make you appreciate running even more as you can notice do much around you. Once you have settled down and into a running rhythm, it is not as daunting as it first seems.

I was just reading your post about your successful 20 minutes. Yes, aren't we lucky to have the coast - though I don't say that in a gale, this morning was glorious. Are you able to give an idea of which bit of coast you are on? I'm extreme south west.
