Up a step today for W2R1. I certainly knew it was harder work but I made it. I'll be glad to repeat it a couple of times before increasing again.
Interested to note that I covered more ground today. So very slow running is definitely faster than brisk walking. Take that, those nay sayers on the outside looking in.

hi! I’m ran my week 2 run today too! It was definitely harder but I’m so happy I could do it. Did feel a bit lightheaded doing my stretches at the end. I am very unfit.. happy to be here tho and still going
Huge well done you.. slow and steady has alwyas been my mantra... I am infamous for it... BUT, it works... and you get to that podium, injury free and having had fun.
If you completed the run, then maybe at this stage don't repeat, ( it is your choice though), but if you just move on. easing back if you need to, then you may find it ok. Although repeating is sometimes very useful, we may run the risk of getting over tired before the longer runs.
Please too, and this is a message for Avalikespink77 too, pop across to the Strength and Flex Forum where there are so, so many ideas for strength and stamina work that run alongside this programme. All linked for you to use !
