Morning all. Week nine for me. I was wondering if anyone out there did anything different for the last run of c25k. Fancy dress or a different route. A friend of mine did it running backwards.

Wow, running backwards for your graduation run, no way but congratulations to you Baggieboy61 on almost completing C25K, enjoy your graduation run no matter where you run it but not backward, if you wish to run it in fancy dress that's up to you, I did run my graduation run at a different place than most of my other runs of C25K, good luck for your graduation run. 🏃🏾 😊 ✔️

I did mine, on the route I began with, Run 1 Week 1...

It was early, it was dark, it was wet and there was just me out there... the only difference as I headed into the village? Christmas lights.

It was perfectly wonderful!

PS

Loads of posts re running backwards on the forum if you scroll around:) Not really a great idea for a 30 minute run if you are not proficient... it can be fun though.

Take a peek, if you have time?

I will. Thanks. I seem to remember someone doing the London marathon backwards.

Maybe for your Graduation run.., just run?

Reflect on how far you have come, what you have learned, en route, about running and about yourself...and simply enjoy the moment.

Enjoy your week 9, and find your nearest parkrun if you can for your graduation run 😁

There’s a park run near me that I was planning to do on Xmas day morning. I had a knee injury recently so that’s not possible now but there’s a run at the same venue on new year day morning. I might aim for that.

New year's Day is a good day to aim for, get that knee healed first 👍

Well done for getting to week 9! I didn't do anything special for my last week, but I did my 1st parkrun the Saturday after to celebrate!

well done on your superb progress so far Baggieboy. I’ve just completed W7 today after a week severely interrupted by Storm Darrah (That’s my excuse anyway!)

As for running backwards…. it sometimes feels like I’m doing that anyway!😂
