After a delay of a couple of days due to Stormy weather I finally completed Run 3 of Week 5 today
I was a little daunted by the 20 minute run, and nearly backed off to re-do run 2, but I remembered what people on here have said regularly- Trust in the process!
So Run 3 it was and once I settled into a rhythm I actually enjoyed it and feel very chuffed to have completed this personal barrier
So for anyone feeling apprehensive about your next run - whichever stage you are at - trust the process and do your best!
Now it’s on to Week 6 - I’m actually looking forward to it!

Well done to you for trusting the program, but more importantly for trusting in yourself. It could be the most marvellous training idea in the world but if you don't do it you don't get anywhere.
The magic of C25K is how rapidly you know your abilities are growing as the weeks go by (even if like many of us you take longer than a week to do a 'week'). You've now completed six of the nine weeks so you're well on the way to graduating. Just stick with it, do the runs and give yourself the best Christmas present of running for 30 minutes!!
Congratulations to you Redbuz on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run for C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 but be careful as the first two runs are back to interval walks and runs, from run 3 no more walking breaks.
Yes it feels like a milestone, not only within C25K but in my own fitness journey
I tend not to read the plan beyond the week I am on (might frighten myself 😂) and see that it’s the end of walking breaks after week 6, seems like a big step up.
Actually looking forward to the challenge, but with cautious optimism!
You are doing very well indeed Tedbuz, remember to take all the runs slowly, you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration, no running on consecutive days as that could cause a injury, you can do it, you WILL do it, you will graduate from C25K in a few weeks time, I wish you good luck 🤞 ✔️
