Week 7 done

Happy to have finished week 7 and looking forward to getting to the end of the programme in the next 2 weeks. One thing that has kept me going is the improvement in my fitness (according to Garmin). Every time I run my fitness age gets lower. When I started my fitness was pretty poor and my fitness age was higher than my actual age. Although I take the fitness age thing with a pinch of salt, it does help me measure my improvement. My fitness age is now below my actual age after just 7 weeks and I feel much better in myself for it. Keep going everyone. This is a great programme, it has really helped me and has got me feeling like a runner again 😁

This is super... and celebrating all these achievements on route, is a great idea. We should celebrate, each and every time we stand on that starting line of the run...

You are doing so, so well and I know that I felt exactly the same, when I realised that my fitness age was so much lower than my real age. ( I am an ancient snail:)

Very well done you! Once a runner... always a runner !! x

Wow! That's great! VO2 was something that I kept an eye on when I got my Garmin.

I loved watching it move up and up. Now I'm on the injury couch, I'm worried that it might start coming down...no matter, I'll bring it back when I'm back...

Only 2 weeks left. Keep us posted...
