hi all, just did my first run post c25k. A 30 min run, still find them hard but don’t feel bad after them. My hip aching a bit today, maybe after effects of my fall in last run. Icing it atm.

I looked at the beyond c25k but it was 35 mins to start so I thought I would do a few more 30 mins repeating week 9 to consolidate first.

Your first post C25K run, big steps :)

It's a really good idea to get comfortable with 30 minutes non stop running before you try and press on to longer times/distances. You'll know when you're ready to up things a bit - your legs will tell you.

Until then, just keep on as you are, patience will pay dividends. Once you feel you want to run for longer remember, try and limit increases to 10% at a time so you don't overdo it. Taking things slowly won't matter in the long run. Going too far, too fast is the road to injury.

Stay well and enjoy your running :)

Yes! First, congrats! Secondly, that's a great idea. I actually have that in mind too ;). I'm about to start week 7, but from weeks before I was thinking about doing like an imaginary week 10 and maybe 11 to just keep doing the 30' thrice a week to get used to it, before any beyond 5k or the Nike Run App. Let's see how I feel in week 9.
