Morning Everyone! Over the last couple of years I have been plagued by achilles and ankle issues but I’ve just restarted the Couch to 5k using the gradual build as a way to build my ankle strength up again. I’m on to doing 10 minute bursts now, with no twinges - fingers crossed! I’ve really missed running and this morning was a gorgeous one!

Well done on your progress! There are a lot of simple ankle strengthening exercises you can do to supplement the running starting with standing on one leg (I'm sure if you've had ongoing ankle problems you already know what to do). Improving your strength and balance pays dividends every time you (read 'I' 😁) trip on an uneven pavement.

Good luck I have just completed C25K for the 3rd time for similar reasons. I've learned to take it steady and listen to my body 🤞
