I got up early this morning and set off, with trepidation, to take on W6R3. Somehow that 20 minute week 5 run seemed like a distant memory and I couldn’t imagine how I’d manage 25 minutes of solid running this time.
Well, somehow I did it! It was a real challenge, especially the last 5 minutes, but I managed to time it so that section was slightly downhill - this gave me a little boost psychologically. When Jo Whitley said 60 seconds left, I unbelievably managed to push a little more and add a tiny bit of speed (not too much though, I’m still team tortoise! 🐢)
So onwards to week 7 next week and three more 25 minutes! This is the first time I’ve truly believed that I can actually complete this programme…I only actually have 5 more minutes to add! Wow! 🤩

Well done and I agree with you the last 5 mins of W6 R3 always seems to last ages. I felt the same too when I did C25K as I’m sure many of us did. However you are doing brilliantly and ploughing your way through C25K so congratulations and keep the good work up 👍👏👏😂
Thanks everyone. It’s lovely to be able to post here because it’s hard not to want share each time you complete a run…my family and friends will soon start glazing over 😆
