Well, my final week has been interesting.
I started on Saturday with Week 9 Run 1. I decided I would up the briskness of my warm-up walk to try and reduce my Toxic 10. All was going well, when I hit an uneven bit of sidewalk and down I went. Fortunately, I wasn't really injured. I tore one of my lovely gloves, so there's that. I didn't hit my head and just bumped my knee but thought I would proceed. The brisker walk helped. The knee wasn't an issue.
Can't say it was the easiest run, but boy, was I happy to finish! (Does anyone else struggle with trainers coming untied?).
Hit by some kind of virus on Sunday/Monday - fatigue, headache, nausea. Woke up today feeling totally back to normal and decided to do Run 2.
It was easier than Saturday and I knew that I would have no problem finishing it - that's a lovely feeling.
So just one more to go! Fingers crossed.
