Return to Parkrun

My last Parkrun (and, as it turned out, my last run for 6 months) was in April. After restarting C25K in October, graduating towards the end of January and having got back up to 5k a couple weeks ago, today was the day that I finally managed to take on Parkrun #68 (and MrsF, who has been with me on every step of the way on this recovery, it was Parkrun #1).

Despite the recent weather, conditions were actually very good; mild, dry, and almost no wind. The ground was soft to soggy in places, but mainly in good condition.

My time was 34:10 (my PB on this course is 25:58), which I was extremely content with. MrsF did herself proud with a fantastic 37:50.

All in all, the sTrongFuse household is a very happy, if slightly knackered one...

Well done to you sTrongFuse and Mrs F on those great times at parkrun this morning, do you remember that both of us ran our first parkrun way back in July 2019, if I remember correctly you were also a rugby referee.
