This morning I surfaced and did some weights. The sun came up and I checked the outside temp which was a tropical 1c but felt like minus 2 so no run today. Ah well that's what I thought until later this morning the sun was shining and we were at 4 C. Gear on and out the door to do an Easy Pace 5k the first one outside this year. Took it easy and didn't look at my Garmin watch so was running a natural pace which averaged out at 8min 25 a kilometer. Going was muddy in places and ice on the road in one place.
I smiled when I looked at the results for this first of the year outside 5k. Slow but will get better.

πππWell done! An awesome outdoor run needs to be celebrated!! I am sure the transition from indoor running takes some adjusting! Glad you are aware of icy patches.. Smiling with you!
Always said...indoor running is only what you do when you have no choice. After having a few face plants I keep my eye on the road. It was great doing a real run.
