I'm running out of road now. Running in the countryside isn't as good as it sounds. I have been trying to avoid big hills. So that cuts down where I can run. Then most of the roads don't have footpaths. I keep going up and down the same stretch but once I've graduated I think I will put some hills in . Still not running where there is no footpath. .

Well done you ! You will tackle those hills when you are ready.. they do really benefit us as runners, but you make the choice as to the as and when...
Whoever said this running was an easy option did not live in hilly locations or where the lanes do not have a path...on you go..... slow and steady ! x

Fellow countryside runner here and I can sympathise! My routes always seem to have me finishing up a big hill, lanes have massive tractors, there are random cows and we won’t even talk about what your feet might accidentally step in!! It does have it’s charms though.
Those hills may one day become your friends. They’re a great way to see how much your fitness has increased and to build it up even more. It’s always ok to walk hills-many trail runners do. Getting to the top and enjoying the view (or the satisfaction of having made it) is usually worth it!
Just take it one step at a time and try and find a way to enjoy your runs as much as possible. You’ll get there.

You are adapting and winning, you can walk up parts of the hills to start with then you might surprise yourself how strong your legs get and run up them
