After a 'chat' with my GP after routine blood tests (the usual suspects- high cholesterol and prediabetes) I decided it was time to get off the couch, get active and ensure I have a rather different chat with the GP next time.
Well here I am after week 5 run 2 and I am loving it. I find myself really looking forward to each session and am even excited at the prospect of a continuous 20 minute run next time. Starting the Cto5k plan is proving to be so rewarding mentally and physically. For the first time in a long time I genuinely feel well.
