Was 'nt sure about doing this run. I normally leave 2 days between not one (my age! ) Anyway despite wind I did it and finished with a little extra at the end. I think my legs lose the rhythm sometimes and I realise I'm not moving much but I could pick it up and get back into the rhythm again. So stretches now and a cuppa before shower. Yeah!

Congratulations to you Basil73 on completing run 3 of week 6, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, onwards and upwards to week 7 which are all 3/ 25 minute runs, not long now until you graduate, keep in touch with this forum to tell us on your progress for your remaining 9 runs of weeks 7,8, and 9 ✔️👍
Huge well done you... make sure now that the runs are longer that you put a bit more rest day exercise too...it really will pay dividends... it helps keep our running bodies moving, whatever our age... I am 73
So good to meet you I’m over 70 and am feeling my way a bit carefully.
Tripped quite badly last Sunday and trying to give myself space to recover (not usually sensible) but so much want to achieve this.
I wonder if I should follow your example and for the future leave 2 days between runs(sorry so funny to think of myself described as running - lolopping is probably a better description.
I’m 74 and nearly graduating. I often leave two or even three days between runs, and/or repeat runs. It means completeing the course takes longer but I’m getting there and doesn’t seem to set me back!
