HELLO !!! Surprise!!!!!!

Yes, here I am again and this time, I am back here with a post in which, so much was gathered, together by our incredible and hardworking  CBDB !!! Thanks to her ! She found all the posts I had written on the different exercises and put them all in one place!!! Now I can find them too!!!

This is a post from three years ago, but still has links which I feel for many new runners may be what they might find useful!

We are really trying to support our runners and their running with some simple, non expensive, easily done, exercise...

The exercises put up, or the links we give are intended to keep our RUNNING/WALKING body in very good shape... and additionally we may, put in exercises to help our mental strength too!

The Catch up Corner post on C25K has links to this too.

The exercises linked here are basic and they do make a great starting point, if you are struggling to think what supplementary exercises you may be doing on some of your rest days.

WHY do any exercise at all? Well...the Catch Up Corner post goes into that... but quite simply, for many, many runners it will,

* Reduce the likelihood of injury...improve strength and flexibility...and help them to run their best!

Please...take a look!

Super post, I remember the feet and calf posts and still do those. I too remember running my first 10k when my whole body was done and my feet were the only part of me that had any spring left, so they got me to the end. Thank you for these posts that are so full of experience and wisdom xx

Thank you, my friend... I was thinking about you so much yesterday ! And of course Happyhays !!!!

The most basic of the exercise can make a difference and your feet told you that! That is amazing!

Your realised that the fuel has to be put in, to get the performance out, and as you run more you will find which fuel is right for you and the distances. But, if we can keep our body strong, it will come up trumps when things feel tough!

Very well done you !
