Well the aftereffects from being ill are still with me. On the plus side I have firmly nailed my mojo to the floor. The weight training and running seem to be giving some results for my endurance. The running gods seem to be smiling on me but you never can be sure. They may have a plan to gets some speedy Snails to attack me on a blind bend one day. The negative is that my speed has left me but I have a cunning plan to get it back or at least my new Garmin has. Yes my old fr245 has taken the trip to the dump with great ceremony and committed to the crusher. Anyway the other day I went out and did a 6k then did a walk /run up a Hill.

The adventure continues with a new Garmin that has sheduled an 80 min run for me on Saturday I hope it can tell the rain to go away! otherwise I just may wimp out.

Fellow runners, have an Excellent day.

🍏Hamit you seem to be taking on the world!!!6K then a walk/run up from the hill certainly means you are back in business!! Must be that Garmin encouraging you onwards and upwards! Well done and glad you have recovered enough to take it on again! Slower May be be for the best until you are fully fit but your body will tell you!

Thanks, ahh the world. Just giving it my best shot. One advantage at 76 is that my family is fully supportive. Yes on slower problem is I know to progress I need to put the work in , no quick fixes.
