Day Minus Seven

Well 5:30am and ... I'm just in from my 'first' brisk half hour walk round our woods over the road. Managed to persuade dh to get up at this unearthly hour and join me!

Thought I'd better start slowly ... managed this walk better than expected while stopping for a few photos of the beautiful sunrise ... and saw 4 bunnies, 2 magpies and loads of pigeons ... plus lots of lovely hedgerow.

Not as out of puff as I expected - a little confidence boost to start me off. Tomorrow I start training as a volunteer Listener at Samaritans ... a new start in more ways than one ♡♡♡ Mood has lifted and buzzing now!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend 😘

Love that beautiful photo ….Well done on the early morning walk!! You will love the start of C25K as it starts with walk run & the run is as slow as you feel comfortable with.. 🐌 pace is perfect! You can repeat each session as many times as you want to.. there are no fail runs.. we call them practice runs… we look forward to your journey and your posts! Hope the Samaritan training goes well tomorrow. What an awesome thing to do!

Lovely walk! I saw three rabbits, a deer, four swans, and a heron this morning!

And what an awesome thing to do - I am full of admiration! 🙌

It's so lovely to see the wildlife isn't it?! ... you must run near water then?! Thankyou so much for your kind words @Gthants 🥰

Most of my runs have been local around town. But when I do school drop off I can divert to the edge of a country park on the way back and I have done some running there too. It gets samey, but is much nicer than the town, that's for sure!
