And just like that I’m on week 5!

Haven’t posted for a couple of weeks. I had a bit of a blip 2 weeks ago when I think I pushed to hard and was reminded that Long Covid hasn’t completely disappeared. However I took advice from the coaches on my virtual running club who looked at my stats and said I was working much too hard on the walking sections. I was also finishing the C25k workout at the bottom of a steep hill (I live at the top of the hill) then walking really fast (about 10min/km) back up the hill for about 20 minutes. My HR actually increased during this ‘walk’. Since then, I’ve done my final 5 minutes walk and then ‘ambled’ back up the hill. All is well again! Sorry for the long post but thought it might be good advice for others coming back from illness/injury. Hope everyone out there is good and enjoying the slightly cooler days 😀

On the days when I am running - now for 25-35 minutes - I can do very little else. I do think it is improving the long Covid and I know my stamina is increasing, but as yet there's not enough in the tank to run and live a fulfilling life on the same day! 🤣
