Well an update for everyone, 17 weeks after my injury I have earlier this evening completed Week 5 Run 3 the big 20 minute run. I am hopefully well on the way to recovery and will be back running however it seems there will be gym visits to maintain in between runs. Well happy tonight.

thanks it was my first real injury in 4 years of running and is still a worry that it could reoccur so have to take it slow and steady.

I am taking it slowly but I guess if my Strava was looked at it would seem I am back on a run every two days. I won’t be keeping that up as will need to fit the gym work in between runs so will increase the time.

I have completed C25K twice before but this is a slowly slowly return due to a Grade3C tear between my calf muscles and advised it could happen again so having to build back up along with lots of gym work.

Hey well done, it’s horrible and seems to take forever when you’re recovering from op’s or injuries but you’re doing well 😁🏃‍♀️

thanks Sweetchips23 my first real injury in over 4 years running. Just the worry if I don’t do the recovery right it could occur again.
