I'm a bit frustrated with my running at the moment. Was doing really well and recently it just doesn't seem to click. Ever felt like that? Still loving running but it seems so much harder currently. ParkRun today 28 mins, this time last year 25.09!. So annoying, meant to get better not worse!! Got a few minor injuries but energy levels just so bad. That said got a new pair of Brooks this week and they are so comfy. If someone had told me 3 years ago I'd get excited about running shoes and most of my wardrobe would be running gear I'd have laughed, well, not anymore!!!🤣🤣
Hi Hedgehog123. Apologies for late reply. You know I think we all get frustrated with our running from time to time. I know I do. But that will pass and you will start to enjoy it again especially now you have new Brooks shoes ….which I have to say are my go to running shoes too. Photo please so we can all drool over them …. Well me anyway.😂😂. I too get excited with new shoes. And like you my wardrobe is mainly running gear😂😂.
Before I run off I have to say that your running time is fabulous. I can’t do a parkrun in 28mins let alone 25 so you need to give yourself a big pat on the back and a positive talking to because you don’t have anything to be frustrated about.
Some days are better than others and we’ve all had them. You’ll get back to the happy feeling it gives you when you run.just chill and enjoy getting out there.
I hope you start to feel better soon and enjoy your new Brooks 👍😂🥰
