I've had around 2 weeks away from running having tweaked a calf muscle (not a running injury). But far from putting my feet up, I've been putting in the miles on my bike, plus other stuff. I'd already tried some slow intervals and felt OK so I thought well let's run and see how far I go. So I loaded up W9R1 (yes I've done all the previous runs) just to make sure I didn't overdo it, and just ran. Yes I started a little fast, so I immediately slowed down and frankly it was amazing. I found my happy pace and just kept going. Ding went the 15 minute bell, great I thought. You know it was one of those days when everything fell into place. Even a chap I pass now and again was very supportive in his comments as I ran by, ohh it did wonders for my confidence. And then it was time up, 30 minutes done and I felt and continue to feel great. I can do this I know I can πββοΈ πββοΈ πββοΈ π π

This is so encouraging. My progress to the end of Week 7 has been relatively straightforward, but after three years of poor health I know a setback will come. It's good to know it's possible to step back up. Really well done!
