Got up early enough to have a run at sunrise - it rises later here in the Canaries. Had Jess coaching me on an easy run and was doing fine til I tripped and went splat on the paving. A fellow runner asked if I was OK, which I was but have badly grazed my knee and elbow . Was only a third of the way in so kept going and managed the whole 30 minutes. Shower was painful. Now bearing two big plasters, knee and elbow - not a good look for a day by the pool!!! It was my first running fall so I suppose it was bound to happen sooner or later. Not going to put me off though. Oh and I'm getting stronger on hills so it's not all bad news. 😊

Oh no , so sorry to hear of your fall ☹️I hope you are ok ?
I noticed you said you carried on with the run , that's amazing .
Just think about if there is anything you need to get checked out though 🤔
So glad to hear it will not put you off !
I have I guess been lucky so far without a fall (hope I haven't jinxed myself now)
Take care

Hope you are ok and not too badly bruised. Sadly every now and then we all seem to have a fall but fortunately I think they are few and far between.
Hopefully some rest and recovery by the pool did the trick
