Annoyed that I took my first fall last night leaving the skin from my knee and elbow on the pavement... ouch!! Funny how you can trip over nothing!!!

BUT... my biggest school boy error was not pausing my Garmin whilst I clambered back to my feet and set off again... :-)

Ouch! I'm an expert at falling over nothing - although I haven't yet done it while running!!

I always forget to pause my Garmin if I stop- I can always see it on my run report though!!

Oh dear. You've got runneritis - and if you're at the stage of worrying more about pausing Garmin than hurt bits then I think you're an incurable case!

You've been running for so long and not yet fallen over? Hope no damage was done. I'm feeling pleased at the moment because I've nearly reached 4 months without a fall - that's almost a record for me!

Happened to me for the first and only time so far about a week ago :) It's almost a Rite of Passage in being a Runner :) Glad you were not hurt too badly :)

I came a daisy one at about week 5 of the programme, I was going up some steps on the warmup walk and tripped over the top one... lovely graze on my knee that took a little while to go as I'm an unreformed picker of scabs!

Oh no, poor you! I tend to trip over my own feet all the time - and they're not THAT big!! I've yet to fall running but to be fair, I'm probably not fast enough ....... famous last words!! Glad you're OK, take care, Toria

What are Garmin like in terms of logging accurately where you've run and how far? I only have a Fitbit and various fitness apps on my phone.

Garmin produce a huge range of running/activity watches and they are probably the market leader. I have never had any accuracy issues and a full battery charge would be good enough for a couple of marathons!! I did use smart phone based apps initially, and whilst these are ok I have found using a dedicated running watch better.
