I've reached the end of Week 6. I tend to run Mon/Wed/Fri, but changed things last week to make allowance for going away alone with my lady for the first time since the chiddlers arrived. This is also my first post long Covid outing that's lasted for more than a few hours.
The plan was for three full days in London, but that proved to be a tad optimistic. Still, we did Friday and Saturday and came back Sunday morning.
In advance I was worried both about my ability to do anything at all, plus the possibility of losing fitness in my time away. I did 19,000 steps on Friday and 17,000 yesterday, so there was no problem either way! Naturally, I got very, very tired.
I was able to take rests during both days and also do extra 15 minute public exercise routines for the delight and delectation of passing tourists (plus the alleviation of back-ouchiness).
I hope I'll wake up on Monday ready to move on to Week 7 ...
