Not heard from you for a while TT60, I hope you are still enjoying your running ๐๐พ ๐ โ
Hey welcome back ๐๐๐๐
hi Mister - fleeting visit, you know me, always popping up when you least expect it
Hope youโre on the mend now ๐
Hi Tinytears60, nice to hear from you again and happy that you are still running whenever you can, does your friend, sorry I have forgotten her name but you and her ran a lot together still run with you?
Zoe - I think sheโs like me.
Im actually thinking of revisiting C25k again - when I can fit it in
Great to hear from you Al -
x
Of course it was Zoe, I am getting on fine thanks TT, Sunday marked my 5th anniversary on graduating from C25K, to mark that runiversary I reran run 3 of week 9 C25K graduation run on the very same route that I ran it 5 years ago, I have also ran 84 parkruns, 38/10Ks, 8/10 miles and 1 half marathon, the half marathon was in honor of Tim, IannodaTruffe who sadly died last November.
omg! Tiny tears - youโre back!!
That is actually really interesting as it's something I have been considering posting about. It's not exactly the trots, but in my early runs (I've just finished week 5) I would quite literally just make it home in time. ๐ณ I like to run early, so it is "out of the way", cooler, I can focus on work & family. Plus there's a sense of achievement right at the start of the day. But that means there's no time to eat at all or drink too much. I don't feel lacking in energy or thirsty when I run, but it could be a contributory factor ...
I had a situation like this recently! I think the squeezing took more energy than the 30 minutes running. Tha kfully I did make it.
I normally carry a few of those dog poo bags just in case ๐
Welcome back! Interesting..we do have a few posts about this subject..I've only ever had to do a 'wild wee' once..in the corner of a field by a clump of daffodils...surrounded by a group of bemused cows!๐โโ๏ธ๐๐คฃ
Heyyyy! How have you been โค๏ธ
Hi Jools
So lovely to hear from you!
I feel like we are โveteransโ of the site!
I see youโve revisited couch to 5k journey again
Iโve been thinking of doing it too- life is so so busy ( feel bad saying it but covid lockdown pace was good for me- I know so many people lost loved ones and it was dreadful, I lost a couple of friends myself)
Hope youโre well - so glad we have contact on strava x
Long time no see TT!
Yes, I've been caught short far too many times and have gone behind bushes or hedges.
Last summer I was doing a long run to Cromer and back from where we were staying on holiday at the time. Thankfully nobody was within sight on the coast path at that point, and I could go into the high vegetation to "do my business". A few miles on there were some public loos in the next village along the coast and I was able to tidy myself up a bit.
And then in November in Alnwick about 2km from the end of a 10km run I felt an urgency, tried to hold it back but couldn't, and had to interrupt that run by going into the disabled loos in the Aldi there. Let's just say that I'm very glad they had cleaning products (sprays, wipes) in there. They were needed.
During this winter there was one time when I was out running in the rain and found my bladder control was lacking. I'm very glad I was wearing black tights, it was dark and they were already wet. ๐
heyyyy Mister - Iโve just replied to something youโve posted about the forum - a poll on the forum
Hope youโre well - well done on the running- you see me on strava popping up with a cheeky comment now and then
๐
I'm well. I had a tumble back at the end of March, deeply cutting my knee, which caused me to overcompensate elsewhere, leading to little niggles that I'm gradually ironing out.
I'm still out running at least four times a week.
Hopefully at some point you'll be able find some time for yourself to be able to get back into things.
