I think it’s been a week since my last run, but it just wasn’t possible while I was in Northumberland. I did walk a lot, though 😊

So - arrived back home yesterday and although I wanted to run, there wasn’t time. Food was the priority!

So this morning - up and raring to go. Running gear on! Tech already charged and synced! Trademark sun visor and out the door! Long leggings - perhaps a mistake - but no matter, I’m not running for long. Must look out my shorts. Not sure the world is ready for my white legs πŸ˜‚

The gremlins seem to strike when I start to run, I suppose it’s similar to the Toxic 10. Once I had the first 3 minute run under my belt then I was fine. The rest of the runs were great. Managed to find a very nice slow pace, listening to my music and enjoying the lovely sunny morning. I’ve definitely done the right thing for me in redoing the programme. Starting at Week 3 seems to be working for me as well. I’m really enjoying these runs as they are within my ability without pushing myself too hard!

Run completed and back home for coffee. Lots to do today 😊

I forgot to take a pic so I’ve included one from my trip. I used to be a keen photographer and this was the first time I’ve used my camera since my husband left 3 years ago. It felt strange to be using it again but perhaps it’s time to make some new memories πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Thats good Jools, sometimes if you are away and can't run it's all the sweeter when you get home. Phone cameras have overtaken cameras haven't they? Yes it's definitely time to make new m mories

Thank you, Sola. Yes, phone cameras are so much more convenient. But when I looked at my real camera pics on the computer the detail was just amazing! And I’m after a large print to hang on the wall. 😊

Well done - you are most definitely back! I'm sure the week without running won't have done any harm and as you say, you were doing a lot of walking. Week 4 already!

I know 😊 Well I did start at Week 3. But - Week 4 run 3 on Thursday - Week 5 on Saturday! 😊

That’s such a stunning photo. Great run. I need to sort out a second pair of shorts with pockets because mine constantly seem to be in the wash. I was also too warm in leggings yesterday. I’m going to be embracing the β€œwhiter than white” look! I’m hoping I’m just moving too quickly for anyone to be bothered and if they are, that’s their problem!

You’re doing great. Keep the pictures coming!

Thank you! I think I’ll just have to embrace the look. I’m never moving too fast for people to notice πŸ˜‚ Once my legs start to go brown I don’t mind wearing shorts.

What a beautiful atmospheric photo…I would have a print of that on my wall!

I really enjoyed C25k the second time around, it’s a good feeling knowing you can do it!

Thank you, Lottie πŸ˜ƒ I have a space I’m saving for a print! Just got to decide whether black and white or colour πŸ€”

Bamburgh Castle?

We had a week in Alnwick in November. Three good days and four rainy ones.

The convenience of the mobile phone camera. I do still use my DSLR occasionally, but nowhere near as often as I used to.

We stayed in Alnwick! Just for 4 days - all sunny 😊. Now I’ve got my camera(s) out of hiding I shall be using them more. It’s just a different kind of photography and I love pressing all the different buttons 🀣

We stayed in one of a set of self catering cottages just off the road to Alnmouth, within walking distance of The Oaks pub, which we frequented for meals too many times.

We were right near the high street in a small apartment complex. Nearest pub was Dirty Bottles or something like that! Plenty of places to eat.
