Week 9, 30 mins, it seemed very unlikely back in February when I started (don't do the maths, I did a few repeats) but here it is, 2 x 30 mins in the bag and one left to do.
On Monday the first 30 mins run was really tough, 2 mins can't make that much difference but it was huge in my head. I also had low blood sugars in the morning and even though I had a cereal bar snack before I set off it had not kicked in.
This morning on the other hand, the weather is perfect, I was well rested, well fueled and hydrated and off I went. I chose my route carefully - as level as it gets round my way and I loved every minute, I felt smooth and paced and strong. One more to go.
