Well I'm back on it again! 4th times a charm, I can't believe the last time I completed couchto5k was almost 18 months ago!!!
I've planned ahead this time and already downloaded a second app which takes you from 5k to 10k for after I've completed it, so hoping I don't yet again complete it and then just stop!
Parkruns have been suggested to me as at least the distance matches, but I do my running on a treadmill so definitely feel the need to get back into it before I consider that!

Hi autumn_love ā¦congratulations on the hardest run of the all, the very first one..getting out of the door is sometimes a big hurdle..but it sounds like itās been well and truly nailed by you !!
I love your enthusiasm too, already downloading a programme to take you to 10kā¦it might be a previous but when you get to the end of the programme you should consolidate your running before you start to work on distance and time etcā¦just to keep building on those foundations and all that hard workā¦we also have a 10k programme on here too and a 10k forum so youāll be in very good company!!
Good luck with the first part of your running journey, I wish you many very happy miles š
It doesnāt matter with Park Run what your capable of! There are people that just walk round the course walk /run run like a snail or like a hare! That is the beauty of park run! It caters for everyone!
At Christmas I was running full 5ks! I seriously injured myself at the end of January! I put Park Run on a Saturday as my 3rd run of the week from week 1!
I start following C25K on the way out and walk back with a bit of jogging! I start at the back to let bigger running packs set off in front of me! Give it ago you may surprise yourself!
