Fantastic! You’re on your way now-the next run will give you a full week of running to celebrate! I used to have a little treat every time I finished a week. It was a mini graduation!

There are loads of virtual run buddies here ready to cheer you on. There’s a brilliant little guide to the programme here with lots of helpful hints and tips.  Well worth a read.  Most important is keeping it slow and steady at a pace where you can talk in full sentences without gasping.  Most of us go too fast! Recovery days between runs are absolutely essential too.

That is so inspiring to hear! I'm restarting C25K after beginning last year but giving up after week 3 when I got Covid on holiday in Spain. I am 66 and run slowly but my body feels so much better when it is moving than when I am crouched over a laptop. This time I am determined to complete the programme. The encouraging posts from everyone on this site will keep me going, so thank you!
