Graduation Day

I plan on graduating today, wk9/3. I got new trainers so I'll be getting out in them. Glad it's not raining today. Just need to get dressed and get out!

Lovely shoes for your graduation run Somethingstupid, I wish you luck for your graduation run, take the run slow and steady, once you have completed it you will be very proud of yourself, if you wish you can report back here and the administrators will award you with the word GRADUATE which will appear next to your username.

Thank you. Unfortunately I had to abandon the run halfway through. My legs didn't have it in them. Probably due to my blood donation on Monday. Didn't think my body had recovered 😕

What happened? Was it weather or maybe going a bit fast? We all have runs that don’t go to plan. Treat it like a practice and think about what you can change for next time. You’ll get there. ♥️

It’s good to have such a clear reason! You’ll take a few days to get back to full power after giving blood. It’s a great thing to do. Take some more rest days and when you’re ready, I’m sure you’ll have a great run. You did the right thing cutting this one a little short. ❤️

I always have a few days off after giving blood, and it takes a week or so for me to feel completely back to normal. I'm glad you listened to your body and stopped when you did
