It was one of those days today where everything seems to conspire against you. I had forgotten to put my Apple watch and headphones on to charge last night and the weather forecast said it would stop raining by 9am, then by 10am and finally 11am. At 10am it was a huge downpour so I decided I would get my kit on anyway, my watch and headphone had enough charge to get me through the run and by 10.45am, the rain had eased off so of I set. I completed the run and even managed a few small inclines which was great. As I was 3/4 of the way to the supermarket and I needed some shopping, I decided to continue my run instead of turning around as I normally do and completed a 34 minute walk home. The 30 second runs whizzed past and soon Denise was telling me how well I'd done (Thanks Denise ) and to go stretch, which I did. 3rd run scheduled for Sunday.

Well done for getting that run done. Those days are just so frustrating when everything is more difficult than it needs to be! Ironically, I find the best cure for feeling frustrated is usually…going for a run!
Getting your kit on is a great tactic for making sure you run. If I’ve gone through the effort of getting a sports bra on, I’m damn well going to make the most of it!
You should be doubly proud of yourself for battling through. Enjoy your rest day(s)-very well earned! 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
