I am feeling absolutely amazing! New Year’s Eve, pouring down with rain, but went out and did my last run. I was going to go to the gym on the treadmill, but really wanted to run my last one outside. I loved it! Is that me talking lol!
My inspiration all along has been my lovely dear Dad. He has Alzheimer’s and when I rang him after my run, his voice was lifted and animated as he talks to me about running (one of his loves when he was younger) and again he says how proud he is. Just that phone call has made it all worth it.
Hopefully next year ( how strange to say that…) I will do my first park run and have a different experience running with other people. I just want to thank this running community for motivating and giving me excellent advice along the way. I still can’t believe it!

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K on New Year's Eve, now go and celebrate your wonderful achievement with 🍷 and cake 🎂 👍 🎓 🏃🏾
Congratulations. What a lovely connection to your dad. Alzheimer’s Research UK often do running challenges (and are linked to Parkrun). I did one last April to raise money. Something you may be interested in once you have consolidated and feel comfortable 😊
Congratulations and well done Suzycabs. What a way to start the new Year. You must be so proud as it’s not an easy thing to do (it wasn’t for me anyway). Happy running
