I think if you feel you have the energy to run then go for a short run and see how it goes. I wouldn’t run to far though as your body still needs it’s energy for you to recover from your cold.
The advice seemed to be if it’s above the throat then run when you feel like it. Otherwise wait for it to completely clear.
No harm in putting on your running gear, doing 5 min warm up walk, jogging away for 10 or so minutes, jogging back, 5 min warm down. Worst is you reach mid way and have to walk all the way back.
