It sadly doesn’t. When you graduate, we’ll direct you to some useful sources of information about post c25k running. There are some good options to build up to 10k when the time is right. It’s important to stick at 30 minutes for a little while after you finish to consolidate your achievements and reduce your chance of injury.
You must be nearly finished now-exciting times! Enjoy your final programme runs!
There are 3 x C25k+ podcasts, there was a link to them but I'm not sure where I found them, sorry
I use Nike Running Club Podcasts app its free and has lots of guided run including 2, 3, 5 and 10k, great for consolidation and helps the progression to 10k and beyond.
And Parkrun associate with WithU app that offers guided runs and fitness, also providing more than enough free resources to not need to subscribe. Offered by way of an alternative to Nike. Parkrun is a charity supported by sponsors.
Here's more info on the app (in case others want to look it up, too...): parkrun.org.uk/sponsors/withu/
Hi Baldman1 , once you've completed and consolidated C25K you could pop over to the Bridge to 10k forum, where you'll find lots of support for continuing your running. This includes the Magic Plan (not an app) for getting to 60 minutes or 10k, and it worked brilliantly for me.
I'll add that while the suggestions for other apps and activities are great, and the vast majority of runners find them beneficial and fun, they're not a requirement for post-C25K running. Certainly give them a try when the time comes, but bear in mind that it's perfectly possible to enjoy running without them. I'm living proof!
