I’ve done it! My last run of the programme! It’s taken a few years to get this far after a 3 year gap from the first time I attempted it! I’m so proud of myself! I didn’t enjoy today’s run as much as the other 2 of week 9 but I did it and including the 5 minute warm up I achieved 5k according to my tracking app!
It’s helped me so much reading the forum and the words that have stuck in my head since I last posted were ‘go slower’ (thank you IannodaTruffe and all those who take the time to post!
I’m off to continue having a smile on my face for the rest of the day!
Thanks once again all!

Thank you! You can do it! All I have in my head is it’s just 30 minutes, a very hard 30 minutes but think how proud I will be at the end of the 30 minutes! I still can’t believe how I’ve managed to get to the end but keep it slow and anything is possible! It’s definitely more mental for me I think! Now preparing for my first 30 minutes after the app is my next challenge 😊
Thanks for the tips! It's definitely more of a mental challenge for me too, so I'll try focusing on how good achieving that goal will feel 😊 I hope you enjoy those next runs!
