We ran and smiled in Uckfield, Sussex for my uncle Tim today. It’s so moving to see how many people have run for him. What a wonderful tribute to a thoroughly beautiful man ❤️

Thank you for running with us, RPE15 ! Even though I never knew your uncle irl, his words of wisdom he shared on this board will stay with me as long as I run: Slow down to conversational pace. Keep running, keep smiling!

Big virtual hug, if you want it, as you adjust to a world without your uncle's bodily presence!

It was an honour to run in his memory. There were so many "Tim's Runners" over the past few days. 💕

That's great! Tim was always a big inspiration, and he still is with his pinned posts on the HU c25k site, I spoke to him often on running matters and more recently when his illness was taking hold more, but he always looked on the bright side with hope, and he being a good man, life isn't fair sometimes, we will miss him. You doing Tim's run in Uckfield, I'm local living in Heathfield and did Tim's run along the cuckoo trail.

I sometimes do Uckfield Parkrun, but not so much this time of year as gets so muddy..

It’s marvellous to know you ran too! Wow, well done!

Your Uncle Tim was a special man who changed our lives for the better. He was kind, thoughtful and a great mentor. I’m sure you knew all that already and so much more, but I’m also sure it’s heartening to see how all of us are showing it.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
