I wrote a few days ago about my first post-op run. I had waited ten months but was reluctant to go back to square one so had started on week four. It went OK but the consensus seemed to be I should go back a bit. Setting off for run two I looked at the plans for earlier weeks but both mind and body rebelled at 90 second runs. So I tentatively set out on week four run two. This is two three minute and two five minute runs. Again it went well and a few days later I did week four run three. It was good! I follow the niko niko style of gentle running and would recommend it to everyone who is beginning to run slowjogginginternational.com

great news but I would maybe do week 4 a few times before attempting to run for 20 minutes at the end of week 5
