Hi everyone, I'm a returning C25K'er, having graduated a few years ago. A bout of COVID in February and then 7 months of long-COVID had me flat on my back and pretty much wiped out any progress I had made and reset my stamina back to zero.
So here I am, round two! The C25K app (team Laura!) and this forum were instrumental in helping me reach my 5K goal before so I thought I'd pop in here, say 'hi' and (re)introduce myself.
Now to put on my shoes and head out the door while the sun is still shining!

Best of luck! I decided to start C25K again after getting out of a routine (and actually similarly having covid a couple of times has not helped either). Currently on week 4 and it's been great to get back to basics.
Thanks dorarunning! I've done the first 2 runs so far and they were okay. Fortunately I'd been going for longer and longer walks ahead of starting so as to try slowly start building up my stamina again.
Hi there PickingUpThePace I am another post-COVID returner. I've had the dreaded virus three times in the past 12 months, and each time the post-viral fatigue has been worse ☹️
I'm currently on Week 4 Run 2, but haven't "come out" on the forum as it were this time, as I've re-started and been knocked back so many times in the past 9 months it's a shame.
HOWEVER, seeing your post has inspired me to announce that I'm at it - yet again - and hopefully this time I'll battle through.
Wishing you (and I!) the very best of luck and here's hoping we both have enough gas in the tank to make it through to re-graduate in due course 🤞🤞
Yay! Congrats Over60sRunner! Stick with it but don't push yourself - better to go slow and steady than to burn out. You've done well to get to W4R2, keep at it and you'll get to 5k!
There must be quite a few post-COVID / long-COVID c25k'ers on here. Perhaps we need to have a tag or sub-forum or something? 🤔
