Hi
I have just completed my 2nd run of week 6 and really struggled and I mean really struggled. After running 20 minutes solid the other day I thought the shorter runs would get easier...
Has anyone else found this?

Perhaps you are running a little too fast, slow down, if you wish you can repeat run 2 of week 6 before going on to run 3 as that is a non stop 25 minute run.
Welcome to the forum and well done on completing your longest C25K workout to date.........the one that catches out more people than any other run in the programme.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5....
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
You are doing great, but relax, slow down and enjoy your journey.
Well done. I also found the shorter runs difficult after running 20 minutes. Thus I have repeated the 20 minute runs more often. Managed my first 25 minute run on monday night....boy was it hard, so just repeated 20 minute run on wednesday and hope to go back up to 25 minutes saturday! I take my time, but keep my legs turning.
Yes, I did. I found week 6 tough. Just slow down a little bit then you’ll smash it.
Well done! Let's not forget the effort going in already. Take it steady and you'll be ok. The runs are the runs but you'll get stronger 😀
Hi thanks for all of your advise and support, I completed my first park run yesterday in 39 minutes I didn't run continuously but I finished!
