that was hard, but so so worth it! The last couple of minutes each run I’m thinking “how am I going to run for an extra 2 minutes next time?” then I Realise, I just ran for an extra 3 minutes each time after week 7.
Only 3 more runs to go, i never thought I’d be at this stage when I first stepped on a treadmill all those weeks ago and was quite frankly blowing out my A*se after 60 seconds what a difference in fitness mindset and over all health. Loving it

You may find distraction helpful, so that the last things you think about are time and the physicality of running. If music doesn't do it, try podcasts or audiobooks. I used to give myself a running commentary on everything that I could see, hear, feel and smell as I ran, in full florid sentences.
thank you I’ll give it a go! I started the plan using podcasts and then when I started running outside (week 5) I switched to music, which I love, but I find it maybe increases my speed depending on tempo and was tiring a bit earlier have switched back to podcasts for the week 8 and been a lot more steady pacing if that makes sense? I know once I’m completely comfortable running it’ll be music that I fall back and probably a commentary in my head too
Most of my running was done with nothing in my ears but the sound of wind in the grass and the birds in hedgerow...........the tempo is always perfect.
