Hi buddies,

Isn’t it amazing how life (holidays, family weddings and so on) gets in the way?

So 3 weeks after completing W1 R1 , finally managed to complete W1 R2, had to pause to Adjust Stu the Stump at the half way point again, but if that’s the way I have to do it then so be it. Run was once again on the treadmill which I find harder than real running but in this weather I can at least have the aircon blasting 16 degree air at me🥶. Have not been lazy in between, have been doing cardio workouts and smaller treadmill sessions in the mean time.

Might take 9 months not weeks at this rate🕰️⌛.

Have been ding Cardio workouts, long walks and a couple of 15 minute treadmill sessions in the intervening weeks, not been totally stationary, Misses would either dust me or paint me if I don’t move.🤪

Your many and varied activities which I see via Garmin connect show how much energy and determination you have Pete.. you haven’t even mentioned all the long and strenuous walks you and your wife have been doing.. I am in awe of your level of fitness..

Sue, most of my fitness is down to the Limbpower ReVamp program, which I started on in January, in that time I’ve gone from being on the verge of being classed as obese to now only 200g over normal weight and weight still going down😀, I would highly recommend it to you.

Thanks Pete, yes I did one Revamp course with Jack Eyers some time ago and I enjoyed it.. for various reasons I couldn’t join the next one, which Rebecca was leading and I was disappointed I couldn’t.. I was thinking I might join again. Is Rebecca leading the next one?

16C? I can come run with you if you like 😂

9 months or 9 weeks both result in an awesome new/returned runner.

All the other work you’ve been doing in between runs is only going to be a benefit to the running.

Local athletic club starting C2 5K September might go and see them, might pull me along.

You can never have too many running buddies!

So long as they do it well and get everyone running at their own pace, I can’t see a downside to getting involved with a club early. They’re very good at helping you find new goals too!!
